Todd & Emma: Colorado Wedding
This wedding was so fun and gorgeous for so many reasons! Todd is my husband's cousin and it's been so fun getting to know Todd and Emma and their family more! Plus, who wouldn't have a blast when you get to shoot a wedding in Colorado?! I know I've said it before, but I'm pretty sure Colorado is my home away from home. It's absolutely gorgeous and I love all the trees and mountains! Not to mention, it's a safe bet that it's usually cooler than Kansas! :)
The morning started with curling irons and Mimosas and the day ended with dancing, cornhole, and polaroid pictures! Some things I loved about Todd and Emma's rustic wedding was the barn, where the ceremony and reception took place. It was so cute! It was actually just off to the side of an actual lumber yard! Emma and her bridesmaids finished getting ready up in the little loft area of the barn before the ceremony. The ceremony was outside and then we went inside to fellowship and eat some good food, sangrias, and cake (made by Todd's mother herself!)! The flowers were so unique because they were actually all made out of wood! They had hot pink and navy blue wooden boutonnieres, corsages, and other decorations and they were all wood! But they looked so real! Forever Lasting Creations did an amazing job. Todd and Emma also had some photo booth props and mini polaroid cameras at the reception! So fun!
